Superb seafood cooked on a josper grill. Great cellar with over 100 bins. Friendly and attentive staff. They even make their own gin!
Had a lovely lunch here from the Local's menu. 20 for three courses all using the freshest and finest ingredients. The fish was excellent and was cooked perfectly to order. I had the plaice with salsa verde. Out waitress was lovely and thoroughly attentive throughout our meal. Look at the pictures and see for yourself how lovely the food was. Very good fine dining restaurant, mainly fish menu although they do have meat on the menu too. Very attentive and friendly staff, they also do a "locals menu" which is very good value of three courses for 20. I will definitely go back!
This used to be the best restaurant in Dartmouth. The service you could not fault. The scallops to start were great. The razor clams were full of grit. The main course of John Dory for 3 was overcooked and a small portion. The salted Honey ice cream was far far too salty. Every time I go now I wish for it and hope for it to be as good as when it first opened. But it just isn't and someone will have to give me a truly amazing review for me to go back. Not the seahorse I remember.
