Lovely views very pleasant staff, and the food was delicious.
Quirky small restaurant, nice decor, starters were amazing but the main of lobster was let down by not a alot of lobster and the sauce over powering the dish by just tasting like butter. Scallops were cooked well and nice away from the sauce
I could wax lyrical about Taylor's Restaurant, across the street from the boat float in Dartmouth. The beauty of the restaurant itself; the utterly remarkable staff; the equally remarkable, beautiful food; but I won't. I have visited this restaurant several times over the years, sadly because of geography not as often as I would like; so I'll simply say this .... Taylor's Restaurant is a very, very special place; if you possibly can, make a reservation, and go there. Take with you someone who means the world to you, and everything will come together to make it an experience neither of you will ever forget. And, if humanly possible, have a table at the bay window, looking out and across to the river Dart. Sheer magic. True beauty, in everything that they do, and the way they will look after you.
I took my wife here for lunch on her birthday and we were very impressed. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, the views from the window of Dartmouth harbour are lovely and the food was exceptional. We are from the lunchtime set menu which was great value. Will definitely go back!
We were impressed by the prompt friendly service. The food was exquisite and beautifully presented. Its a small and expensive restaurant so for special occasions (most of the tables were there for a birthday). Also well situated with an impressive view of the river Dart. 10% recommended!
