Great site, very high spec accommodation - thoroughly recommend
We turned up here hoping to stay for a week. We had booked very close to our arrival, so hadn't yet paid. On arriving, we struggled to find the field as there was absolutely no signage. On arriving in the field, there was no reception, nor anyone there to tell us anything. We went to a nearby house and was told the lady that manages the site should be in the caravan (one of the two in the field). We returned to the field, and were greeted by the only other guest, who informed us that there was no running water in the shower or toilet block, which we hadn't been told about (despite phoning two days prior to confirm, and the site having our contact details). Thankfully, as it wasn't busy season, we managed to find another campsite as we didn't fancy digging a hole for the loo and not washing for a week. On reflection, I shouldn't have booked somewhere with such little information in advance. It is VERY un-commercialised (read: nothing there), but that's a little too far for roughing it. I hoped that the Street View photography was old, and that signage and buildings had since been erected - but what you see on Street View is actually what the site looks like: it's a field. 12 per night is very steep for this kind of set up, though had the water in the shower block been functioning, we may have had an entirely different experience!
