Lovely place, run by a great couple. The French owner makes excellent desserts. Don't forget to try the clair. Had a great time. Thanks a lot

Outstanding coffee!! The staff are really friendly and the delicious cakes and pastries are all hand made on site. Well worth it.

Not bad for a cup of tea or coffee. Cosy place with nice decorations. Cakes are very expensive and the ones we had seemed to be at least at day old, dry and not too tasty.

Good Place.for Tea coffee and cakes.staff exactly. Food well presented. Over all good experience.

I was a little sceptical at first - generally, we don't make very good French desserts in this country - but the cakes here are of the same quality as those in France. I spoke to the staff to compliment the food and discovered the owner is indeed French and bakes the desserts fresh every morning! The bounty and chocolate cake was my personal favourite as I do love the flavour of coconut. The textures were varied, with the flakes of coconut complimenting the creamy layers of coconut mousse and chocolate mousse. The raspberry brownie was rich and full of fresh raspberries, which brought a more savoury, but pleasant, taste to the otherwise sweet dessert. The macaroons, Apple tart and lemon tart were akin to those in France: the macaroons were light and chewy; the apple tart was flaky, sweet and caramelized; and the lemon tart made my partner wink - but that's what he loves about lemons. We also shared the coffee mousse, which looked light and fluffy, but was very dense and filled with caramelized, chewy hazelnuts. We also had mains, including pulled pork on sour dough (very tender) and mackerel pate (one of the best I've tasted). This is clearly a very popular place as the locals popped in for fresh bread and takeaway desserts.
