Great little gallery. I not only bought a couple of items (so hard to choose with so many nice things), the owner gave me the details of one of her display stands so that I could buy my own. Very helpful. What a pity I was on holiday - I wish the gallery was in my home town.

I visited in the summer with a friend and we spent ages browsing and dithering. In the end we left to think and came back before making our purchases, there was no pressure and the lady (maybe owner?!) cheerfully rummaged around to find other examples of prints to show us and offered suggestions without being pushy. She even told us Dodgy were playing on the green at the music festival! Helped make our visit to Dartmouth really enjoyable.
Extremely rude owner, such a a shame. Gives the town a bad image. Needs to work in her customer service, especially if you work in a retail environment
One of my favorite artists, Amanda Anderson, posted a photo of a new mosaic on her Instagram feed. When I decided to purchase it, she directed me to Baxters. I had a wonderful experience! From the first email to receiving my beautiful artwork, Sarah was courteous, helpful, and communicative. My art was carefully packed and arrived in the US in perfect condition. I would love to visit the gallery someday to thank them in person!
